ICN 530 problem turn it into pc

Hello. I have tryied to alternate my navman icn 530 into a pocket pc with a program I have downloaded and I have followed the steps correctly in order to turn my mavman on and get a pc menu different than the original one but when I turn it on I get the desired menu for about 3-4 seconds and then it returns to the navman menu. the pc menu runs in the back and each time I reset the device it gives me the menu for 2-3 secs and then again navman menu.
I have tryied to erase all the navman files from the device but it seems it is not enough!
Can anyone tell me what I can do?

Buy legit software rather than using torrents maybe?
