Default Problem SD card.

I've run into a problem with a 2gb SD card. I cannot delete or add any data to the card as it has suddenly decided to tell me to unlock the card. I would if I could but there is no switch on the side of this card. I have tried to format it, but the same message comes up. Before I bin it, any ideas?

Well, I've now managed to find the original bill. Purchased in August '05 for my HP 4150. It's a Turbo 150x made by 'adata'. I bought it from the US and notice that the cardboard carrier that it came with talks of a 'Lifetime Warranty', whatever that actually means. Perhaps I should maybe send the supplier a quick Email me thinks.

The company concerned have quickly replied that it will be replaced under the terms of the 'Lifetime Warranty.'
As I cannot format it, should I assume or bring to their attention that the card should be destroyed as it contains licensed software that I have paid for. i.e Tom Tom is just one application on the card.

I would and request confirmation of delivery (ie send recorded del) and request the supplier confirm it has been destroyed (as well as the reason for replacement) - just incase any software vendor ever asks.

I'm facing the same problem too before. Then I have to reformat again my SD card and sacrificed all my files.
