just brought a xda orbit and i'm trying to find out if the new 4gb micro sdhc card will work in it as i getting conflicting reports.

According to XDA developers (a good site) the Orbit will be capable when a driver is released by O", but out of the box - no it can't.

I'd suggest checking that site, as they'll likely be the first to know.
