First Time GPS set up help - Mitac

Just received my very first PDA - I have Mitac 168 with Route 66 Navigation s/w.

What are the first steps to setting up GPS for navigation? The manual does not hardly mention GPS and I haven't a clue where to start. Sure I'll be OK once kicked off!

Have you got Activesync installed etc?
