Dont Know What Happened To My Last Thread. Where Can I Send My Mio 168 For Repair

You should probably contact your supplier to arrange the repair for you. Unless it's out of warranty then I suspect you will need to contact Mio directly.

thanx charlie contacted evesham mio who sell them and they dont want to know unless i bought it off them. bought off net and cant contact the seller im in a right mess any other ideas please

Afraid not, you will probably need proof of purchase if you go to Mitac directly...sorry.

Smile Mio 168 repair

Clacky,

Just found this site while looking for this very solution. If you have the usual poroblem with the Mio 168 of the power port falling out, it is all due to a faulty batch I am informed. For repair under warranty, you need to contace MIO UK tech support on 0207 294 0074. They will give you am RMA number and send you an e-mail with an address on it. The address is for a company calle Comserve in Manchester. You send the PDA to this address with the RMA number and they will courier it back to you. If you are not under warrant, contact them anyway and they'll give you an address to send it to for repair. A bit of a nightmare, but I hope this helps anyone out there.

Thanks for this info I have the same fault with mine - rung them up and the repair centre is on Salford Quays about 500yds from where I work - took it in for repair this morning, they will let me know when it is ready for collection I will let you know what the turn around is - they said about 7 days

RETURNED IN 4 WORKING DAYS = FREE REPAIR

Recieved my 168 back yesterday been away for 1 week came back with new motherboard and battery
Fantastic turn round time at their repair centre
