Default Mio and GPRS

Hi, i`m a bit of a PDA virgin so please be gentle with me if my questions don`t make sense, I purchased the Mio 168 with tomtom 5, unfortunatley there`s no bluetooth and i`m trying to connect to the internet via motorola V3 modem (gprs). btw i can connect my laptop this way using the moto phone tools, but the PDA won`t recognise this proggy.
Is there a way of manually setting it up?
Or is bluetooth the only way the PDA will connect with the V3 modem?
If so, will a USB bluetooth doggle do the trick?
Thanx, any comments are appreciated.
