Cool Has anyone used a 2gb sd card with their 168?

Hi, I'm new to the forums, just found them while searching the net.

I've just bought a 168 (it's due tomorrow) and I want to get a higher capacity SD card. I've read some where that the MIO168 will work fine using a 1GB SD card, does anyone know if it would work with a 2GB card?

Cheers,

Rob

Thanks Steven, no-one out there seems to have tried it so I'll stick with the 1GB for now

The 168 ( as well as 99% of the Mio hardware) actually will work on up to 4GB SD cards, but only certain makes. Mitac.tw published a compatibility chart listing all the makes tested. My 268 works quite happily on a 2GB Kingmax card, even though mio-tech.be said there is no way it would work. Have a look at item 5 here:
