Smile Mio 269+ and Navteq

Hi,
Can anyone help,I have just got a Mitac Mio 269+ for christmas, comes preinstalled with european maps including UK and Ireland, unfortunately the Ireland maps are rubbish and only come down to street level in a few major towns.
As it comes with Teleatlas map data,I was wondering is it possible to load the Navtaq data and take the Teleatlas off the system.
Anyone thats interested the Navteq data is far superior in Ireland.

Many Thanks.
