I fully charge the battery but after just one day. When I switch on, nothing happends, it dosn't work. If I flick the soft re-set switch it then boots up OK and the battery shows about half full.
I have tried going into Settings/Memory/ Stop running programms, so no programmes are running when I switch off.
Thanks Ed |

| | You may have turned off all running programmes but ActiveSync re-starts itself on both the Mio P350's and P550's, There is a way to stop this. Start your P350. Go to Start – Programs – Activesync. Tap on Menu then Add Server Source’ Enter 1, 1, 1, 1 as the server. User a Password b Domain c Next uncheck the boxes End. Now go back to Menu – Schedule and use the two sliders to select each as Manual OK Now go to Activesync - Options, where you can delete the Server you’ve just added. It will now keep the Manual settings. You will still be able to use Activesync in the normal way but you’ll find it no longer auto-starts when it’s left alone, thereby saving some battery power. Mio recommend a ‘top-up’ at least once per week. |

| | Works a treat, many thanks, seems it's a WM5 problem as lots on other PDA newsgroups are reporting similar problems re poor battery life due to 'Acrive Sync' operating in power off state.

Thanks. |

| | No you click the exhange option, hold the stylus and select delete. You delete the whole profile, rather than the data. |

| My mistake, it should read Now go to ActiveSync - Menu - Options, where you will see the first server is Windows PC (with some boxes ticked, unticked or blanked out). Leave this as it is.
It's the one below you need to delete so you are left with just the Windows PC server.. | |
