Default Help!!! Mio P350 can not run WM5

Hi,

When I was trying to copy some files to Mio P350, suddenly it went crush and its connection with PC is disconnected. Then I restart P350 then I found out it can only show the first introduction picture and can not go further. Even I reset P350 it doesn't work.

Is it a common problem?Could anybody tell me the solution to it? How can I run the system again?

Press the re-set button at the bottom and wait for screen to appear. Then slide the on/off switch to off and leave it a couple of hours.

Set on/off to on and see if you can get any further.

It doesn't work, mate. Does that mean that I can't fix it by myself? What can I do else?

Time to break out the ROM CD (labeled Windows Mobile 5 - with red/orange warning label), connect your device via USB and try to flash the bios.

If it can't be done, then you'll need Mio's USB installer which will work without activesync (assuming it fails to see your device). Dell and others have their own. You MUST only use the one supplied by your manufacter, otherwise you may mess your bios up meaning only Mio can repair it.
