Mio 168 not working

I have a mio 168 which is not turning on. It was working and then i tried plugging to charge for some reason the light on the charger faded and now the pda wont turn on.

I have since charged the pda in the car and the battery is fully charged but it still doesnt come on. I have tried taking the battery out for a few hours and replacing it but still no life. I have tried resetting it with the back switch but still nothing.

Is there a way i can rescue my mio...?
