Navman S80 and contacts

I have Navman S80 and HTC touch dual (well tmobile mda but basically the same thing).

When I pair the devices with bluetooth the Navman says: it cannot make the connection, however it does pair the devices and i can use the Navman as handsfree phone.

But ... it doesn't sync the contacts. I contacted Navman about this and they gave some unconvincing response about how there are no bluetooth standards and that not all bluetooth devices are compatible. fair enough but the problems not with the pairing its the contacts data. The HTC uses windows moblie and outlook and surely should be able to sync with Navman (it says so on there website).

Does anyone know of any workaround for this?

...well i bluetooth connected the navman to my old nokia n80 and the sync worked, copied my contacts across. When i connect using the HTC touch the contacts remain. Job done. No thanks to the Navman support.
