Default NAVMAN S50 -software download

Trying to install current update. It will not because NAVdesk not installed!!!! I thought it was.

I put my installation disk in to oblige and note that it referes to S35 s55 I think it was not S 50..... former not mentioned. Or is it the same software.... I have my doubts.

I reckon I did not see an option like that when I originally installed the NAVMAN software.

Any ideas. I am reluctant to uninstall just in case I get that S35 etc quandry again. The gear works well at the moment and do not want to compromise that to perhaps install the download.

So what has happened. Hope I explained it correctly.

Smile NavDesk update

I had exactly the same problem.
Have checked Navman Technical Site tonight and find there is a link to a patch which resolves the issue.

Click on this: START PAGE

then click on 'In car', scroll down to S50 3D and click on that then click on 'Article 332' to give you the link to the patch.

Used it and all worked for me.
Good luck to anyone else who has the problem.

Default Job done.

Completed the map upgrade today.
Took 28 minutes to download the new maps onto PC and then about 10 minutes to complete the deletion of the old maps and the transfer of the new maps onto Navman.
Remaining job is to go out and see any differences - several major road changes within 25 miles of home in last 2yrs See if it recognises them or still gives me that abrupt message to 'go to the nearest road!'
