Default S503D.Two conflicting voice tracks at same time!

I have just had to restore my SAT NAV due to loss of access to maps. It is the correct software taken from the DVD and with adice from MIO.

Well I eventually finished just unloading the current soft ware and reloading JUST UK maps from the original DVD.

Now it seems to work well but, then I am not so sure as I keep on getting two voice tracks. One of them appears to be the one I want, the other is interrupting and diffiocult to decipher. The diction is clear not garbled on both sound tracks.

Help appreciated.

I would have like to have hard restet the SAT nav as told but their instructions did not make sense asking me to press and hold power controls as if they press operated when they in fact slide.

Hope this is clear.

I believe the NAVMAN help desk may not be in the UK, this may explain my difficulty in understanding the instructions. I have looked again and again at them and I think divined the solution. I crossed my fingers and went ahead. What I did 'IN MY WORDS' was was swicth the SAT NAV and plg it into the PC. I opened the folder and delete the NAVMAN folder. Open the installation DVD and follow instructions to download the maps you are licenced to download. Easy as that, far easier than the wordy explanation!

The SATNAV seems to have benefited from the blow through and seems to reacted more quicky and the cross talk seems to have diappeared.

I will let you all know in a couple of days if it really works :-)
