Navman 3400 Lock-up

Hi,

I have a IPaq 3970 and Navman 3400 sleeve which have both worked great for about 18 months. In the last week I have started to have problems with it.

The problem only occurs when I have set a route, and somewhere during the journey the unit locks up and the map freezes. The only way out is to reset the IPaq and start again.

I can drive all day with the unit free wheeling on the map without any route and it plots and updates my position continuously. I have also tried a friend's 3400 sleeve but the same problem occurred.

Tried deleting and reinstalling SmartST and Maps, Moved maps around my various cards and main memory and tried it with and without service pack 2 installed. All makes no difference.

Any help would be appreciated

Welcome to our forums.
Since you've tried re-installing and that hasn't worked I would go with a hard reset of the PDA then a re-install.
