Default IPAQ 4700 to 4420 bluetooth problem

Help! I'm continuous dropouts, the iPAQ reports that the bluetooth signal is too high, is there any way of changing the level, or any other ideas.

Thanks

Welcome to our forums.
According to info @ http://www.support.navman-europe.com...ity/index.html the 4700 isn't compatible.

I know, however they seem to indicate that this is due to the screen resolution rather than any other issue. As it happens the screen display is OK....

Phone them on 01293 780 500.
We've never used that combo because they won't support it.

I have heard that there is a bluetooth problem when using the combination and Navman say that it is the PDA causing the problem.

Funnily enough it only seems troublesome indoors, when I mount the unit in the car it works fine, I've just returned from some 600 miles of european travel, and it has performed faultlessly.

Thanks for your comments though.

That would be right then, almost any sat nav system will give you problems when "indoors" as they need a clear view of the sky to get a fix.
