Buying unlock codes navman pin

I would like to buy the unlock code for the European maps, but am put off by the warning on the website that the code 'can only be used once.' What exactly does this mean?

Clearly I would like to be able to on and offload the maps onto the pda whenever I go abroad, and it would also be nice to know that, having spent £150, if I changed my desktop computer or had to replace the pda I could still access the maps.

Any thoughts...navman support have not got back to me, 10 days of waiting.

I would guess this means you can only use it to register the software to one PDA. I would expect them to be able to allow the transfer of the code in the event that your PDA was replaced due to failure but you would need to confirm this with them.
