Default Compatibility of Navman maps

Just wondered if anyone knows whether the V2 maps from a ICN630 will work on my Ipaq 4150 with Navman 4410.

I'm off to the USA soon and I've been offered a set of North American maps at a good price.

Welcome to our forums.
I'm not sure about this as the CDs for the ICN look for an ICN when you try to install from them so I'm not sure if it will work. I'm sure Navman would say no.

Thanks for that Charlie.

How about an early version of smart st pro. I'm told that the maps will load ok, but won't recognise the bluetooth gps engine. Is there an update that can be down loaded, or would I have to buy a wired gps receiver?

I think you'll find it might be the other way around, the earlier version of SmartST would recognise the GPS receiver but I don't think it would run the maps. This is all just my opinion though you mey get a better answer from Navman to be honest.

Hello.
Just had this problem.I bought an Ipaq 3870 with a Navman sleeve + SP Professional software ver 1.91 at auction.I tried to get the St software to work with a Bluetooth gps receiver. No go.The St Professional software will only work with the Navman sleeve.
I downloaded a demo version of Mapopolis and this seems to work fine.I hope this helps.
Regards.
Tony.
