PIN300 Questions...Please Help!!

Hi Guys & Girls,

I have the opportunity to purchase a Navman Pin 300 at a stupidly cheap price, but it is only the Handheld itself.
There is no box, instructions, car mounting kit, software, SD Card, or maps. ***JUST THE HANDHELD AND INTEGRATED GPS RECIEVER***

Now, my questions are...

1) Do i have to buy the navman software to make the GPS work (ie could i use any other SW like tomtom?

2) Can I purchase items like the car kit, USB Sync cable or cradle & SD Card from other places (like www.totalpda.co.uk.CO.UK). Would there be any other difficulties.

3) Do you have any other information that would be helpful to me in trying to get a GPS system running on this PDA / PIN 300.

Any help is greatly appriciated, and i thank you all in the anticipation of some useful information.

Welcome to our forums.
1) You will have to buy the software for it...check Navmans site for prices.
2) You can buy a generic car kit that will fit it but you will need to get the USB cable/cradle from Navman. SD cards can be bought anywhere.
3) Save the hassle and buy a complete one.
