activation code for Navan Smartst Pro Europe?

Hi, i've just brought smartST Professional Europe softwear (for my ipaq 3970 & 3450 selve) which is 2nd hand off of ebay last week.. it comes with the original cd's, case and product key.. so its not a copy.. the softwear wont register with the product key or activate..

i guess this stops more than one person using the softwear..

is there a way around this problem or do i have to have the original owners detail??

I too have this problem, having bought iCN610 with European maps and product keys, but the key won't register. I'm still trying to resolve this with Navman and ASM DIrect, but no luck so far, in fact I'm having the greatest difficulty trying to raise a response out of Navman, Europe at all! When I do resolve it, and I will, I'll post over on the iCN forum.
