Default iCN610 SD card compatibility

This is my first post so hello everyone - I have just bought an iCN610, "Hurrah!" and I love it, but it came with the UK maps on a small SD card (looks like 128MB). I tried to load the speed camera database but the software complained that there wasn't enough space and, reasonably enough, told me how little there was left! Having shopped around, I have found some 1GB SD cards for about the £30 mark. Now I hear that the 610 won't "drive" anything over 512MB, is this true? Also does the 512 MB have to be "high speed", which I notice carries a higher price tag!?
Is this memory card limitation a common issue?
optimistically,
- Tim

Changed mine to a 256MB Scan disk Card, works fine and has a good few POI's on it. All the speed cams plus 7 digit postcode and a few others

Dont think your going to need a 1Mb TBH

Thanks for that, Fraz, what type/make is your 256 SD card? What do you mean when you say 7 digit postcode?
cheers,
- Tim
