navman and tom tom, gps

Question navman and tom tom, gps

Hi, first post so here goes, I have a navman 3450 jacket with a ipaq 3970, i have just loaded tom tom but the gps will not start up, any ideas would be grate full.

Have you got the Navman software running at the same time?
You need to change the setting in GPS to TomTom Navigator (Ipaq Sleeve) as it is defaulted to run on serial cable com 1

Hi Stevie
Thanks for your answer, it has solved that problem but I have another one, if you can help? I have downloaded the speedcameras o.k. I have also got the bmp file for the camera icon but it doesn't appear in the POI or on the map as it is running. Do you have any ideas?

I haveing problems with the above. Could you tell me which settngs I need to set in the 'Tom Tom GPS (IPAQ Sleeve)?
