Angry ICN 330 No Map Data

Morning All.

Call me an idiot, and i wish i had never done it however a couple of days ago i removed the memory card from my Navman and copied all the card data to a folder on my computer. I used the card to transfer some stuff to a friends phone, then i cleared the card, added the original data back on the card in the same format, put the card back in the ICN330 and now its saying No Map Data Available, yet when you turn it on it says its loading the maps. Does anyone know how to fix this problem at all, as the navman helpdesk is taking forever to get back to me. Many thanks in advance.

Contacted Navman, got a ridiculous reply saying ive got to buy another map card at a cost of £49.99 as the cards for the 330 are copyrighted. Rubbish i thought so i went back to COmet where i bought it, they were so helpful and replaced the card under warranty within 3 days. Moral of the story? NEVER REMOVE AND REPLACE THE MAPS ON AN ICN 330!!

Morning Madman

Im afraid the 2006 map data is the latest and final maps that Navman will produce for the ICN330. I emailed them about 8 months ago asking when they would be updating them as the website was always showing out of stock. They replied about 6 weeks ago saying they had just aquired a limited stock of 2006 map data and basically grab them while you can as they wont be getting anymore. I read the email, deleted it and went out and bought a TOMTOM lol. Its a shame as the 330 is an excellent "do what it says on the tin" entry level satnav. It just seems like its been abandoned by Navman so they can concentrate on their newer stuff. Also please read the above about the nightmare i had with the map memoty card a couple of years ago, dont ever remove the maps or try and fiddle with the card contents or it will be rendered useless. Cheers.
