f20 mapping problem/annoyance!

I have an f20 which tells me to join a motorway when i clearly need to join a dual carriageway. It is extremely irritating and could potentially cause a real problem when at a motorway junction that also shares a roundabout with a major A road. Is there a way to sort this out?
