Default Choice of TomTom or Navman

I have both the TomTom Bluetooth GPS with TomTom 3 maps and the Navman 4400 with the SmartST V 2 software/maps.

Currently I am using TomTom system

I wish to load the Navman system on my Ipaq 2210 giving me the choice of using either system.

However once loaded I am unable to open the Navman 4400 would this be because of a conflict between the TomTom GPS & the Navman GPS.

If someone has an alternative solution can they please tell me....

Reason for the above ....I have some concerns about the TomTom reliability partly from personal experience and previous postings.
