NAVMAN s50 (POI problem)

Hi... i wonder if anyone can help, i had POIs installed on my S50...i.e. KFC...Harvester pubs...Beefeater pubs...etc and went to add some more, and then disconnected and went downstairs, to find.... that all my POIs had disappeared .... so i came back upstairs to reinstall them and when i go through the procedure of adding them the following message appears...

Unable to open/p**** the .CSV file. Ensure that the file is not used by another program and is not corrupt.

this message comes up even on .CSV files that i know have worked before, i've even gone so far as reinstall the NavDesk software and system restore to the day before on my PC.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance

upon searching the internet, i found a similar problem on the S80 was happening, which they suggested formatting the Navman and reinstalling, which has cured the problem just to be on the safe side, copy the navman contents to your computer as a backup
