You can use MMS with an Orange SPV M1000, you can update your software here
Select the "SPV M1000 with MMS 3.66.1.230" Save it to your computer. Plug your PDA in and connect VIA Active Sync and run the upgrade. Follow the on screen prompts the whole process takes about an hour. This leaves you with an upgraded Version complete with MMS. Please note:

You must have a MMS enabled Sim to be able to use it.

Thanks for the note. I actually got the Orange update some months ago when it was released. When i first got my M1000 I thought it commercial suicide for Orange not to have an MMS applet given the money-spinningness of mutimedia messaging these days. Given that the M1000 was originally for business use only, I guess MMS wasn't seen as a useful thing. But now the M1000 (and M2000) are available to the general public, it made sense for Orange to get an MMS applet on there asap.
