Angry M1000 SPV - can't hear or be heard!

SPV M1000, it's a couple of years old and out of warranty so can't find anyone to advise me. The phone works as normal but can't hear calls or be heard. Have trolled the forums and it seems to be a common fault but with no solution. Have tried hard, and soft resets - no joy. Don't really wanna chuck it in the bin as it's so useful for day-to-day business. Any thoughts? ;-)

Do you not have Orange insurance?

It's only £5 a month, and would cover you for a replacement.

Hi,

Did you resolve this problem?

It is exactly the problem I have right now - even down to the fact that it is out of warranty and is a cast off!

Could realy do with some help

Hi, I did resolve the problem, but don't know how! I know that sounds crap, but I did about 10 hard resets which didn't seem to do anything so I gave up, left the phone dead for about a week and when I recharged it it worked again. It's been OK since.

Good luck.

John.
