Default Questions about SPV M1000

Does anyone know what the little socket is for under the rubber bung on the back of a SPV M1000.

At the moment I have a "pay as you go" sim in the SVP M1000 which does not allow Internet access, is it possible to connect to the internet via the docking station through my Broadband connection and if so how do I do it

That is for an external aerial i.e. if you have an in-car setup with aerial on the roof of the car.

with regards internet access.. yes it is possible.. go into active sync options then click the "rules" tab. at the bottom should be an option for "pass through" make sure this is set to "internet"

Dock your pda, let activesync do its thing and launch your browser on the pda (pocket internet explorer), as long as you have an internet connection at home you should be able to browse

hope this helps
