| | M600 just bought this great bit of kit, installed tomtom6, easy peasy. Everything seems to work first time, no faffing around. Bluetooth works well, GPRS works well, sync to the Pc works well - never have I had such an easy to use, install phone!!
Two problems though, and its probably me being dim -
How do i display my contacts first name first and
How do i choose a ringtone from my own music on the SD card
I have been fiddling for ages but cant work either or them out.
Thanks |

| | I think the contacts thing is an option on outlook on your PC under contact options.
Think the ringtones have to be wav files and theres no point having anything over 30 seconds so you might want to edit them
You can select the ringtone under phone options. Quote: |

| | thanks martin and sorry for only saying thank you now i have another query (ps - i still cant make it list in first name format, outlook wont seem to let me either, even though i have clicked first name, last name - maybe i need to reinstall)
does anyone know how to attch a document via email on the phone. if i use ie through gprs and open my gmail account, i can view attachments but cant create a message and add an attachment. if i go in to word and open the doc i want to send it gives me the option to send via mms or outlook email, but not my own choice of email!!
I also dont know how to set outlook up on the phone so i can use that option!

| | The send option lists outgoing accounts you have set up on the phone. can you access your email on the phone? If so its probably done using outlook email.
If not you will have to add a new account and enter your email setup details. Quote: |

| | You might want to try creating a new messaging account on the PDA.
Go to messaging select menu - tools - new account. You will need to enter teh correct email details to set up the account. Quote: |
