Have you followed the various sticky posts in the tomtom navigator forum?

yeah, had a good look around all the forums but nothing on my type of gps receiver, seems every one using bt ones, mine is a serial type, looks abit like a modem plug, it plugs into the car mount,
tried all the settings in ttn6 but still nothing,
it cant be a problem with the phone or gps receiver cos i have 11 of each and tried them all.

they all working before i purchased them at auction, but the taxi firm that had them all reset all the pda's to factory so must have deleted any drivers,

There wont be any drivers.

You will need 'other'
as your GSP receiver, and the correct baud rate. try the usual 4800, 9600 etc. Once the yellow and black globe spins, then all you need is the GPS lock.

The tomtom setting should be other wired GPS and then it should just be a case of picking the correct com port.

Normally would say serial cable on com ? but you could try all of them till you get the one its working on.

Which version of tomtom is it and do you have the latest update?
