Default Move all data from a T2 to a T5

Hello all, first post so I hope I'm doing this right.

At the moment I have a Tungsten T2 with a mountain of data, at the weekend I'm being given a T5 that is like new, hardly used from a good friend so I know its history.
Am getting everything included in the box from new (including the box)

Using --
Palm v4.5.1P - along with the normal Palm applications &
I use HotSync to keep everything backed up to my PC.
DataViz Documents To Go v10.002(464)
-- and a few minor applications that I don't mind losing.

Address Book & Memo Pad are my main concerns, too much information!!

I'm wondering how easy / difficult I'm going to find transferring all my data from one machine to the other.

Are there any pitfalls of which I need to be aware?

I hope not, I'm really looking forward to this.

Thanks for any advise,

Tungsten101

You should be able to just "HotSync" the T5 and the data will be transfered automatically from the palm desktop.

You may need to alter the sync settings so the desktop takes priority if you have it set differently at the moment. Beware if this is not set correctly the T5 may transfer to the desktop and wipe all the records.

Other than that it should be quite straightforward

Good luck

Thank you for that Rick, good point about the Sync setting, had not thought of that one, you might have saved the day.
