Default TE Screen Protector Recommendations

I bought a Tungsten E yesterday (my first ever PDA) and right away bought a screen protector for it. I got an InnoPocket "Palm Screen Protection Filter" (model PE-0601) and i hate it!

First of all there was no way to tell which bit was the protective backing and which was the actual protector, so i got bits of dust stuck to it right from the beginning as i was trying to apply the wrong piece of plastic to my screen.

But the worst thing about it is it makes the TE's screen a bit duller and less bright. And it seems to compeltely defeat the transflective mechanism in sunlight, rendering the screen unreadable. Without the protector the screen looks great in the sunshine.

Can anyone recommend a good, non adhesive screen protector that is thin and perfectly transparent and doesn't take away the beauty of my TE's screen?

Thanks!

Welcome to our forums.
It's probably a bit late now but I prefer to use the protective cover which is normally fitted to the Palms from new.

I'm liking the look of the new T£ clear protection cover from boxwave.

umm anyway I digress - I got my screen protector from boxwave and was really happy with it. I'm trying to remember which one it was.

FWIW I would ge the slightly thicker screen protector which is washable and reusable - I found the surface a lot nicer to write on

hth

Do the thicker protectors not cause any issues when writing on them then? I would have thought so but there you go

Can't say I've had any problems... I wish I could find the packaging for the screen as I've tried several and it was by far the best. I'll get someone to look back through the accounts to try and find the receipt for it..
