Welcome to our forums.
I'm not aware of any systems for the C.

I have just (25 Oct 04) installed TomTom 3 for Palm Tungsten T3 on my Tungsten C and it works perfectly. I had the same problem finding a gps satnave to work. I did some research and found that Mapsonic do a version too, but I wanted to plump for the TomTom. After spending an hour waiting on TomTom's support line I got through and they confirmed it worked, so I went out and bought it. As I said, it works perfectly, but I cannot source a speed camera database that is compatible with palm.

Thanks for pointing that out to us bunting.
If you get the v4.40 update from TomToms site you can use the speed camera database @ pocketgpsworld.co.uk .

OK thanks. Have downloaded v4.40 and gone to http://www.pocketgpspoi.com/download...tgps_uk_sc.zip
which keeps crashing. Is this due to heavy traffic?

Also forgot to point out regards Tungsten C kit. This is designed for the Tungsten T3, and the C is a bigger unit. TomTom sell a universal car kit that can be used with the C, or you can saw through the side retention arms (plastic) of the cradle to allow it to fit. The sync contacts are the same as the C, so fits and allows it to communicate with GPS unit and power which both plug into the cradle. Sorry for not mentioning before, but it this is only way it works unless you pay an extra £40 for the universal cradle.
regards,

I've got this all going now. I used softick exporter II to load up the POI databases onto the card, very easy to use. Bit of a problem with the T3 cradle though, It's died on me! I'm now trying to source a mount (windscreen or dash). I've come across the Arkon cm765 for the Tunsten C, but doesn't seem to be available in UK. Although the Arkon cm540/3/6 seems to be the best bet at the moment. Does anyone know if I import the cm765 from Arkon in California, are there any contention problems with plugging it into a car in UK?
thanks,

There should be no issues with it, beware of import tax though.
