Default T5 Hot Synch Problem PLEASE HELP

I am a new PDA user and have just purchased a Tungsten T5, BUT I have a problem with Hot Synch. With the T5 connected to the PC, it is recognised and shows in the device manager OK, I can transfer files to the PDA OK via the File Transfer program BUT it will not Hot Synch. On hitting the Hot Synch button it appears to start synching but after about 1 min I get an error message saying that a connection could not be established. I have check the cables etc but nothing appears to help. CAN YOU???

PLEASE

Dixkot

Welcome to our forums.
Have you got the latest version of Hotsync and are you using any anti-virus of firewall software on your PC?

Don't know about the latest Hotsynch, I'll check, BUT yes firewall on PC. I'll disable it and try.

Cheers,

Check anti-virus as well, it's usually the main cause of communication errors.
