Palm desktop - email problem

Hi there

I have a Palm T2 and have software on my Apple laptop which syncs etc...problem is in the address book the email icon does not work. when I click it it doesn't take me to my email software.

I have checked that the field is set to script "create email to address" but when I look under help it says

"Set up your Mac so that it can locate the e-mail application that you use, and select this application as the default.
Mac OS X: In the dock, click System Preferences, and then click Internet. Click the Email tab and complete the information"

This is not right as internet is under Sharing in system prefs and there is no email tab????

Anyone encountered this? Any advise? I can't transfer fully to this software without the ability to email directly from it...
