Question Tungsten T5 and TTN5 upgrade problem

I run TTN3 with no problems. A conduit error is reported when I attempt to upgrade. It happens on 2 PCs, before any link to the T5. I have reinstalled Palm Desktop several times - including to c:\PalmOne (a directory without any spaces in the name) - but the problem remains. Any advice? TomTom support is hopeless.

I have finally managed to install/hack it now. I had to use a fresh PC, with a fresh install of Office and Palm Desktop. Still all sorts of hassles though. I cannot get voices to work. It appears they go in a directory called 'Tom Tom', but when I bought John Cleese's voice, TomTom website says it goes in a directory called 'voices'. I have tried Jane UK's voice and John Cleese's voice in 'Tom Tom' and 'voices' on both internal drive and SD-card with no luck. Does anyone have the correct directory structure?

This software is making fun out of me, so I have redesigned the TomTom logo:

Well, staying up to all hours in the morning, I have got the voices working. I deleted the 'contacts navigation' from the device (it was about 3MB) and, contrary to what TomTom says, I installed it on the SD card. Now the Jane UK voice works, but when I test John Cleese's voice, I get a Fatal Error.

It appears that the standard voices are installed in the 'TomTom' directory but the extra voices are installed in the 'voices' directory.
