Question Palm OS vs Microsoft

I d onot have a PDA but my main requirement is a PDA which will support Satnat (TomTom5).

A very good friend has said that Palm OS is much more stable than windows (I was looking at an Ipaq 4700) so am now looking a Palm lifedrive.

The Palm lifedrive seems to have a good spec and a range of applications for both business and pleasure. I have also read several reports of the Ipaqs and similar PDAs locking up in use, not a lot of good if you are trying to navigate at the time. Stability is therefore a major issue

Any experience of this ?

I have TT5 running on a Palm T3 and it works great. You can't go wrong with the Palm OS.
