Help Me Please !!!!!!!!

I have a Palm Vx and had been experiencing problems charging. Brought a new docking station and then had trouble Hot Syncing. Stupidly decided to re- install software without backing up. I have now managed to wipe all information from my Pc and now have no diary or contacts.

Does anyone have any ideas on tryng to restore this info or have I learnt a harsh lesson?
