 TomTom Europe maps question
I have a Treo 650, a GlobalSat BT-338 GPS and am thinking about buying TomTom Navigator 5 and the Western Europe maps package. On TomTom's site they list 'Map of the Alps region' for $40. I need to know if this map is included as a sub-set of their Western Europe map package, or if it is a separate map altogether.
The Alps region map is only 224 mb, while the individual countries that I need (France, Switzerland, Italy) would require a total of more than 1 gig of space (I was told by TomToms tech support that I have to load an entire map, not able to load just the areas that I need). I am assuming the Map of the Alps region maps are also street level maps, is this correct? |
