How do I start again

I had Palm going well (I have a T2) sync was brilliant and I often updated from Palm Desktop and Documents to Go. Then I tried placing an IPAQ onto my PC which used Microsoft Outlook, did not like it so removed it all. Now Palm is all over the place does not download from Palm Desktop, cannot update my Cachemate software, lost my bluetooth icon, etc. How can I get it back set up as it was. or even as it would have been on purchasing, although I have added a lot of programmes that I do not wish to loose. I have soft booted, but to no avail. Any assistance out there?
