Treo 650 earbud jack

My Treo 650's earphone jack has started to have so much static it is not worth useing. I have tried other head sets that work on other units and the result is the same. I am afraid I managed to goof it up. I would like to know if anyone knows how to attempt a repair since my pda is out of warranty.
I have a Jabra 200 blue tooth but it doesn't work to well with the 650. Any ideas as to a good bluetooth for a Treo.
