Unhappy Conduit Manager could not be found

Despite my conduit manager being in the same folder as the HotSync Manager; I get the message:
"Conduit Manager could not be found. It must be located in the same folder as HotSync Manager for proper operation.

I'm using:
Mac OS 10.3.9
Palm Desktop 4.2.1
Tungsten T2

I've searched and there is only one copy of the conduit manager on my computer.

thanks for any help

I've sorted the problem after hours of frustration. This is just for the record so as to help anyone else.
Palm Desktop 4.2.1 instals in 3 places: Applications; Users>Documents and the hardrive>library>application support.
So the website is not accurate in saying: "To uninstall Palm Desktop, open your Macintosh's Applications folder, and drag and drop the Palm folder to the trash".
