Angry TomTOm GPS Bluetooth

My Tom Tom GPS unit has suddenly stopped blinking blue. The green light comes on but nothing else. As the instructions for use from Tom Tom were non existent. Is the unit duff . I have only had it a month. My palm T3 regulary needs to soft started to get the units to talk to each other and despite following Tom Toms Email, I can not get it to recognise the map of Spain I have just loaded. I am beginning to wish I had bought another Garmin as this unit never let me down once. Any advise appreciated

Sounds like your BT GPS has stopped giving off a bluetooth signal, Tom Tom advise customers to drain the battery then try a full charge from the AC adapter. Try that and tell me how you get on.

Tries this off Tom Tom and sadly no response.
Im also getting hacked off trying to get my Palm to recognise the maps of Europe. It keeps asking for activation code. Tom Tom tell you this is a known problem but even loading version 4.1 of navigator still doesnt fix it !!!!

I had this problem, You have to have a least one 16mb map from the UK loaded first, then load the Europe map.I loaded london then Europe.I don't know if your aware but you have to select the Europe map for the change map icon in the option menu. The Europe map does not come up automaticly.
