Unhappy Navman PIN 570 and TOMTOM5

Hello all, I have put tomtom 5 on, all ok, and have set up as per other posts, the light for the gps is flashing and all seems alright, but it just sits there saying "waiting for valid GPS signal". ( this was sitting outside under a clear sky)
I havn't deleted Smart st from the pda, as I bought it second hand and have no way of putting it back on, as all I have is the unit and charger. . . . . . .I didn't know if this was the problem or what. It works fine on the navman software, but I'd like to use TomTom as it seems friendlier.

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks mate, works like a dream. These were the exact settings I have been trying to use, but I think because I was used to the smart st software picking up the satalites a lot quicker, I suppose I was not being patient enough waiting for tomtom...but at least now it works. thanks again
