Yes it is possible. Mine has just been changed to UK voices from US voices. I was emailed two files to install and how to install them, however, the navman didn't use the installed files, just ignored them. Since I live in Auckland and Navman have their offices here, I called in and they were able to install them for me. However, this required a hard reset.
As for your second problem, I'm experiencing the same. Since I now have a personal contact with the company, I'm hoping they will tell me how to fix it. I'll post the fix here if I get one.

Follow up to my last message:
Navman email support were kind enough to let me know that I needed to apply a service pack which would update Smart ST to 3.50.0515. However, when I checked my unit, I already had this update installed. They also advised me to enter a dummy contact on the unit and study they way Smart St handled it. The navman was able to use this contact successfully to navigate to. I then reformatted another real contact the same without the same success. Since this address was not unique in NZ, the navman asked for my choice of place this address could apply to and when I chose, it lost the house number, but found the street successfully. My memory of house No's won't be reliable though, so I've decided to do the following: Reformat all my contact addresses on my PC Outlook address file to other, this would include the house No. In home or business address, just enter the minimal address of street name and then I'll be prompted to decide whereabouts the street geographically is and I will be successfully guided to it. But I'll still have the proper address saved in 'other'.
Any comments?
