PiN 570 - problem installing Anquet Maps

As part of the installation for Anquet Digital Map software, there is a requirement to ensure that Microsoft .NET Compact Framework software is installed.
When I try to install this on my PiN570, I get the follolowing error:

"Setup Failed - MS .NET CF 2.0 failed to install on your device because the installation file is not intended for this version of the device."

This prevents me using the Anquet software (Digital Ordnance Survey maps).

Can anyone suggest a solution or workaround....or even advise me if I am doing something wrong.

NavMan say to speak to Anquet & Anquet say to speak to NavMan - ie no solutiuon from the tech support people...so far!

I had exactly the same problem with installing .NET CF 2.0 on my Navman PiN 570, and the same unhelpfullness from Navman. I was installing different software that required CF 2.0, not Anquet, although I do have an older version of Anquet. Anyway, I solved this by copying the cab file NETCFv2.wce4.ARMV4.cab to the Pin 570 and opening on the device. That installs .NET 2.0, you'll get an error saying it's for an older H/PC version but install anyway.

The standard install routine takes the other cab file NETCFv2.ppc.ARMV4.cab which is in the c:\Program Files\Microsoft .NET\SDK\CompactFramework\v2.0\WindowsCE\wce400\ar mv4 folder and obviously doesn't work.

One thing I don't understand about the Navman PiN 570 is why it ships with Windows Mobile 2003 and not Windows Mobile 2003 SE (Second Edition).
