Default Navman PDA 168 ( Mio 168)

Hiya

First post

Never had a PDA before and just bought one from ebay. Navman 168 or a mio 168. It has sat nav built in and IE, outlook etc. I've looked about and can only find stuff relating to a MMC/SD Slot. But is it true, that for me to go online with this device, I need a wi-fi card or sumthing. Well I looked again on ebay and found a few but they all say for a compac Flash slot? Is this the same as the mmc/sd slot?

Also the Navigation software is SmartST v2, I would like one with Speed camera database, would this software have it if not can someone recommened new software that offers this?

Cheers guys

A CF is twice the size of an SD so it wouldnt fit your Mio.

I dont think the smart ST will let you put speedcameras on as its about 4 years old. Tomtom 6 will run on your device though and that can have speed cameras.

You can get speed cameras from
Pocket GPS World - SatNavs | GPS | Speed Cameras

You can also check there if it will run your version of smart ST as they have a full list of compatible software.

Hmmm does that mean I can't go on the internet with this device then?

Thanks for the rest of the info

You could get an SD wifi card that would let you conect to wifi.
