Unhappy Medion MDPNA 100

I have a major problem with my Medion MDPNA 100. I had not used the machine for several weeks and the battery dischaged, so I charged it but am unable to get it to work. The on/off switch continually blinks red instead of green. I have tried a hard boot but to no avail.
I have looked on the two disks that I got with it; the Companion disk and the map disk and they do not appear to have the operating system on them.
I contacted Medion and they suggested the Hard reboot and if that failed to send it back to them and a repair would cost about 100 hundred pounds.

Could anyone advise. Help much appreciated.

Steve

Leave it charging for a while and it should change to green.

Many devices do this when there is too little power to run the device.

Hi getsurfers, thanks for reply and interest. No, it is not a problem with the battery. I have charged the battery and have also tried a replacement to no avail.

Any other ideas?

Thanks Steve

Insert the charger and hit the soft rest button whilst plugged in.

Thank you. Tried this, no effect just blank screen and the On/Off switch flashing red.

Devices should revert to factory standard in the event of complete battery failure.

As yours doesnt seem to want to work, then it appears yours is faulty and needs repairing
