Help with Mio P350

hey my P350 pda/gps has gone haywire. i was using it and it suddenly lost applications, it could find them. so i soft reset it and it decided to do a hard reset all on its own. it was then working (minus all my installed info) when it stalled. i again soft reset it and now it is stuck on Mio start up page. no matter what i do it only ever comes back to the mio start page. has it died or is there hope.

Take the battery out, leave it for half an hour then replace and try starting again.

If you haven't removed a battery take it easy because it's held in with some very sticky double sided tape.

Ease one side up a little, then the other, then the top and bottom. Go round and round a fraction at a time and it eventually comes out.

If in future you have to remove it again it's not such a pain the second time.
